She has been with SIS since April 2019, and before that worked for 2 years as a Clinical Coordinator and 5 years as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. She loves the work she is currently doing and actually was the one who encouraged that we extend our services to domestic violence survivors as well as human trafficking survivors!

Community Outreach Advisor
Leah started out as an intern with Sisters in Shelter in January 2020, and now works full time as the Community Outreach Advisor. She spent her previous years working as an ESL tutor for international students and therefore is skilled in intercultural communication. In 2021 Leah spearheaded the nonprofit social enterprise Hope's Landing to work in partnership with Sisters in Shelter providing jobs and stability to our clients.

Brooke is our new Case Manager at Sisters In Shelter. She worked in Ohio's prison system before returning to school full-time. A current Social Work major at The Ohio State University, she's looking forward to working with Domestic Violence survivors and survivors of Human Trafficking.
